Superstar Dreams

Penny scratched her head trying to focus on her homework. While she knew so many things about her life and the lives of those around her homework didn't come as easy. Even though she knew her future career didn't require her to be a star student she couldn't help but want to do well to impress her Dad. Micah was all about the academics.

When she wasn't melting her brain with homework she was with Colton. The two were even closer now than they had been as kids if that was possible. Stacy was not pleased. She didn't understand why they'd want to spend all their time kissing. YUCK.

Stacy being Stacy had to let him know just how displeased she was. "Get your smelly mitts off my sister." She growled. Penny sighed and shook her head at her sister. It was best just to let these things go with her. Arguing with her would get them nowhere. "So-orry..." Colton stammered looking at the ground. He's so easily embarrassed Penny thought stifling a giggle. Pleased with herself Stacy stormed off.

"That is one scary kid." Colton said once she was out of earshot. Penny laughed.
"If you think she is scary now you don't want to know how she'll be when she is older. Don't worry though you wont take much more of her abuse." She assured him. Colton shook his head Penny was always talking like she knew the future. He was pretty sure in fact that she thought she did but that was impossible right?

Stacy wasn't always a monster. She even took the garbage out... sometimes.

Now that she was school age Stacy decided to join Ballet. It was the first step toward her future career after all. She'd learn dance and then in high school she'd join drama club and be the best actress there. Then after high school she'd be cast in the next big blockbuster and her name would be in lights. Yes she was going to be a star! She didn't need her sisters clairvoyance to tell her that.

Micah was trying to see his new son Ephraim as often as he could. Work had sped up since his last promotion and Stacy was even more of a handful now that she was a child. He was constantly having to track her down after curfew or shoo her away from the TV after hours of her being glued to it. He'd thought about asking Ella to move in but he knew she was still struggling to get promoted and while she had one baby in her house now it was still less of a distraction than his lively house. It did bother him to have his son so far away however. 

"You do know where the break is don't you honey?" Micah asked digging his nails into the dashboard. 

"Don't worry Dad we are going to be fine." She said with complete certainty as she always did. It worried Micah how sure she was of everything as if nothing bad would happen to her. He wasn't sure she fully understood how dangerous the world could be. But every time he tried to talk to her about it she would smile and tell him not to worry so much. 

"Just slow down a bit please." He told her shaking his head. 

"Ok dad." She rolled her eyes.

A/N

Yay their back! A bit of a short one though as I only played them for a little while. I had to replay the last three days of Penny's childhood since my save was a bit farther back than I thought. I also had to completely remake Colton because he had disappeared from the game altogether :(  I think I did ok with him though. Granted I had to randomize his traits because I have no clue what they used to be but oh well. I know the reasoning behind Ella and Micah not living together seems flimsy but hey that's my roll what can you do. Plus I'm not able to come up with a clever reason so currently they aren't because they both want to be top of their careers first. :shrug: Anyways thanks for reading =)

Birthday Kisses

Milo stared at himself in the mirror as he brushed his teeth. Time had seemed to fly by lately and he was having trouble remembering just how long it had been since he'd had a quiet moment like this one. Things had gotten even more complicated with Ella lately and it had kept him away from the girls a lot more then he'd like. Thankfully they were old enough to look after themselves, shoot Penny would be a teenager tomorrow. He sighed to himself loudly and glanced at the bathtub and shrugged. "It'll just take a minute." He said to himself.

"This is so NOT my problem." Stacy glared at the table full of dirty dishes as she passed and headed into her room. "I need beauty sleep someone else can do the cleaning."

"Ugh... the least she could do is clean up after herself." Penny grumbled heading across the room. "All I wanted was to shower and get to bed at a decent hour but no PRINCESS STACY can't be bothered to do a dish." She stacked the plates and headed to the sink. Unlike her spoiled sister she couldn't just leave a mess for her father to have to clean when he got home. "Tomorrow will be a good day." She reminded herself.

"Honey are you staying tonight?" Ella asked walking into the bathroom.

"No I can't leave the girls alone over night El." He sighed.

"Penny is almost a teenager... wow I can't believe that!" Her eyes went wide.

"Tell me about it." Micah chuckled. "Maybe after tomorrow I'll feel better about staying out all night but tonight just doesn't feel right. Really I should get going now."

"Ok you are probably right." She said biting her lip.

"Don't worry El, you'll be just fine without me." He reassured her.

"I hope you're right."

"Well at least it's clean." Micah sighed as he walked into his mostly quiet house. He knew he had Penny to thank for that since Stacy only ever made messes. He sighed when he noticed the TV was still on the romance channel and rolled his eyes all Stacy ever watched was that crap he was in for trouble when she was a teenager. He clicked off the TV and headed for bed.

Penny stood in front of her cake and eyed the door, any second her Mom would walk though and then she would be able to finally blow out the candles. Almost on Que Ella walked through the door and Penny smiled leaning over her cake and pretending to think of a wish. She didn't actually make a wish however since she knew that she'd get everything she wanted anyway.

A twirl and some sparkles later and she was suddenly standing a lot taller. Instead of grabbing some cake she rushed around the table to cheer Colton on as his birthday was also today. She was very impressed by how well he aged up even though she'd always known he would age well. Unlike Penny however Colton went straight for his cake so she stood quietly waiting for him to finish so she could put the plan she'd had since childhood in place. 

The moment he put his plate in the sink she pounced. He was of course shocked at first but when she pulled away he grabbed her and pulled her back to him making her heart flutter. She giggled as they pulled apart and smiled at him. "Don't worry you don't have to ask me I'll be your girlfriend." She told him and he shook his head. 

"You know one day I might actually have a question I'll want to ask myself." He teased.

"Don't worry I'll let you." She winked and he shook his head doubting very much that Penny would ever just let anything play out the way it was supposed to.

Micah had reluctantly agree to spend the night at Ella's after the birthday party. It wasn't that he didn't want to spend time with her it was just that she'd never be able to get by without him if she didn't actually try. He smiled at her and kissed her lightly. "Why don't you get some sleep I'll stay up for a bit."

"You sure?" She asked. 

"Of course, I've logged plenty of hours." He chuckled and she headed off to bed. 

A few minutes later Micah headed in behind her but he wasn't heading to bed. "Well it's just you and me little guy." He sighed down to his sleeping son just as the infant started to wiggle awake.

A/N

Booooo time jump! I had a ton of pictures of Stacy's birthday and stuff before that but... I LOST THEM! :( So I had to resort to skipping ahead which I hate doing but I figured it was better then a picture less chapter or even two. I'm guessing I lost them in the process of trying to fix my lagging, freezing, and crashing issues which have really messed up my other legacy since I've had to purge a ton of my CC. So far I haven't used a ton of CC in this one so it seems to not be messed up too much so YAY! 

Anywho this chapter is a hot mess of jumping all over the place but I just had to get something out so I could move the story along. Now that Penny is a teenager it should get more interesting and sort of revolve around her (with a bit of Stacy) since Micah mostly works or skills and that's pretty boring to read about. Of course when he's not doing those things he's sneaking off with Ella and making babies O.o

Is it supposed to be green?

"If only you'd remember this moment kid." Penny said to her sister as she shoved her hand into the bowl of mush. There would be a day where Stacy would have a temper tantrum if someone even thought of eating like that in her presence. 

"Yum yum." Stacy gurgled up at her. 

"You say that now." Penny laughed.

Since it was his day off Micah decided it'd be a good time to visit Ella who was also off that day. She of course was more then happy to see him and Stacy didn't seem to mind being left to play with her Teddy. 

Penny however had spent her day on their class's field trip to the bistro which she had found quite exciting who knew there was more to eat then cereal and mac n cheese. She couldn't wait to ask her father to make some steak. Of course being the responsible child she was she made sure to sit and do her homework before rushing home with dinner requests. 

 "I asked Daddy to make steak for dinner but he said he was already making spaghetti." Penny told her sister as they played with their block table. "I guess its about time we try spaghetti too. But I really wanted to try steak! They have a whole case full of steak at the bistro it must be delicious! And don't get me started on desserts!" 

"Cake!" Stacy exclaimed.

"Cake indeed!"

"Daddy... is it supposed to be green?" Penny asked looking warily at her plate. 

"I may have burnt it a little but just eat around those parts." He told her. Not wanting to upset her father and scare him away from trying any other new things Penny shoveled the very burnt spaghetti down and tried not to taste it. 

With work keeping him busy till late at night and the days going by so fast Micah found himself in a rush to teach Stacy her skills before her fast approaching birthday. Teaching Penny how to walk and talk had been a breeze but this little girl was stubborn and refused to repeat anything, thankfully he managed to get a few steps out of her. "You're going to be a piece of work aren't you?" He asked her one night before bed. She cuddled against him with a quiet giggle which to him felt ominous as ever.

A/N

Very short and somewhat choppy chapter, unfortunately when nothing exciting is happening in game its hard to make it seem that way. However Penny has I think 3 days till she's a teen and when that happens it will get a lot more interesting. Though I will say the game has thrown me some interesting things lately but those are for another chapter. ;) Thanks for reading. 

Counting Snowflakes

Goodbye cuddly toddler hello childhood. Penny was more then thrilled to finally be a child she couldn't wait for school the next morning it was going to be the best day ever. 

"Penny honey what are you doing?" Micah asked as his daughter stared out the window. 

"Counting snowflakes ten more and the bus will be here!" She said and he shook his head with a chuckle. There was something special about Penny he knew that and it had only amplified as she got older. 

Sure enough only moments later the bus showed up. 

As expected school was a lot of fun and Penny had made several friends including the most important friend of all Colton. He had been reluctant at first when she had enthusiastically told him that they would be best friends but when she had given him her pudding at lunch he readily agreed to come over after school. She of course knew pudding would do the trick after all Colton loved pudding. The two friends spent hours in the yard playing in the snow. 

A few days later Stacy aged into a toddler. She made sure to show exactly how big of a pain she was going to be right from the start.  Of course being the only toddler in the house her Daddy was always quick to her rescue.

Unfortunately that night a burglar decided to target their home and make off with their bathtub. Micah had expected a faster response from the police since he had called them the moment he heard something in the house but of course they showed up long after the thief had fled. 

"My apologies Mr. Groves but the thief has gotten away." The officer said having the decency to at least look embarrassed. 

"Who steals a bath tub?" Micah asked him incredulously. 

"Its actually quite a common occurrence." The officer shrugged. 

Now that her sister was big enough Penny made sure to spend time playing with her after all Stacy would be a very important part of her life. Though she did still spend the majority of her time with Colton. 

"Butterflies? That's so girly." He wrinkled his nose at her suggestion.

"Catching butterflies will be an important thing for you later you know." She told him.

"You're so weird Pen." He rolled his eyes at her. "Lets just play tag."

A/N

Kind of a filler though there were two age ups. I was going to do another party but after the last one I wasn't sure I wanted to risk it lol. I do plan on doing one for Penny's teen birthday though. The stinking burglar came after I had already built an extension so I couldn't replace the bath tub so they are out one until the next time Micah gets paid. As usual thanks for reading.  =)
