Counting Snowflakes

Goodbye cuddly toddler hello childhood. Penny was more then thrilled to finally be a child she couldn't wait for school the next morning it was going to be the best day ever.

"Penny honey what are you doing?" Micah asked as his daughter stared out the window.
"Counting snowflakes ten more and the bus will be here!" She said and he shook his head with a chuckle. There was something special about Penny he knew that and it had only amplified as she got older.
Sure enough only moments later the bus showed up.

As expected school was a lot of fun and Penny had made several friends including the most important friend of all Colton. He had been reluctant at first when she had enthusiastically told him that they would be best friends but when she had given him her pudding at lunch he readily agreed to come over after school. She of course knew pudding would do the trick after all Colton loved pudding. The two friends spent hours in the yard playing in the snow.

A few days later Stacy aged into a toddler. She made sure to show exactly how big of a pain she was going to be right from the start.  Of course being the only toddler in the house her Daddy was always quick to her rescue.

Unfortunately that night a burglar decided to target their home and make off with their bathtub. Micah had expected a faster response from the police since he had called them the moment he heard something in the house but of course they showed up long after the thief had fled.
"My apologies Mr. Groves but the thief has gotten away." The officer said having the decency to at least look embarrassed.
"Who steals a bath tub?" Micah asked him incredulously.
"Its actually quite a common occurrence." The officer shrugged.

Now that her sister was big enough Penny made sure to spend time playing with her after all Stacy would be a very important part of her life. Though she did still spend the majority of her time with Colton.
"Butterflies? That's so girly." He wrinkled his nose at her suggestion.
"Catching butterflies will be an important thing for you later you know." She told him.
"You're so weird Pen." He rolled his eyes at her. "Lets just play tag."

Kind of a filler though there were two age ups. I was going to do another party but after the last one I wasn't sure I wanted to risk it lol. I do plan on doing one for Penny's teen birthday though. The stinking burglar came after I had already built an extension so I couldn't replace the bath tub so they are out one until the next time Micah gets paid. As usual thanks for reading.  =)

Sorry Honey

In an attempt to distract himself from the his latest batch of news Micah decided to throw himself completely into the spirit for Penny's first Spooky Day. Penny really wished he had picked any other costume clowns were creepy!

After taking a long walk around town looking at all the decorations and kids in costume they headed back home. Fortunately for Micah Penny was much more cooperative with the potty then she had been with talking.

The next evening Ella made her appearance once again pregnant with his child. She had decided not to stay with him this time but the child would stay with him as Penny had. He couldn't help but smile as he watched Ella and Penny play over his book, despite not living together Ella still saw her daughter regularly though she was still upset she couldn't help teach her skills.

After putting Penny to bed Ella began screaming in pain. "Now? Has it really been that long?" Micah asked in shock.
"I don't think this baby cares how long it's been!!" She shrieked.
"Sorry honey." He said embarrassed and helped her out to the car.

Ella had left abruptly after giving birth to their new daughter Stacy. Micah had a feeling this time had been harder for her and she wanted to get away before she changed her mind. Of course for him the hope of just that was getting stronger. And so he focused more on his daughters and his job the things that he had intended on being his goals.
In fact he had just received a promotion at work which had come just in time for Stacy's arrival expenses.

Even thought Penny knew full well that her father was only making her wait because her sister needed a bottle, that didn't mean she couldn't throw a tantrum to make him feel her pain.

And really Micah had been going out of his way to spend equal time with both girls. And with Penny's birthday only a few days away he'd made sure to finish teaching her to talk and potty then got started on walking.

Penny of course was rather good at entertaining herself when she needed to she loved telling her toys how she was going to be a big girl and go to school soon where she would meet her best friend in the whole world.

So I find it a little funny that for both my legacy's first gen was single with 2 children and I got two girls both times. Fortunately gen two for this legacy is totally different! Anyway I am going to be slowing down with the updates at least for the next few days I'm finally getting the space I need on my computer to run all of my expansions so I will be resuming my first legacy soon! Yay! No worries though this one will continue right along with it as it seems like lately I can't play the sims without some sort of challenge. Thanks for reading as always =)

Stop looking at that!

Maybe staying up so late had been a bad idea, Micah thought to himself as he stared down at the leftover cake he was scarfing down for breakfast before rushing out to work.

Ella had stayed the night and had clearly not expected Anderson to be in the kitchen since she didn't bother to get dressed. Being a teenage boy he couldn't help but stare at her rear.
"Oh does he not need a sitter today?" Anderson asked finally tearing himself away from the view.
"What? Oh! Yes he does I'm just visiting and I'll be leaving soon." She told him.

"Well good morning princess look how big you got!" Anderson said as he scooped Penny up. She gave him a dirty look she had seen what he was staring at and she didn't like it. Of course being a toddler she was always just one tickle away from being your best friend again. "Now then how about some food?"

After her breakfast Penny was left to play with her peg box which of course managed to anger her after only a few minutes of trying to put a circle where the triangle goes.

When her father returned home he took her outside to play with her teddy while he tended to his garden. Penny loved being outside and loved being near her daddy even more.

After gardening it was back inside for dinner and then he sat down to teach her some new words. "Can you say flowers?" He asked and she shook her head at him. "How about Dada?" She responded by sticking her tongue out. "No?" He sighed.
"Baby." She cooed suddenly surprising her father.
"Baby?" He asked.
"Baby, baby, baby!" She exclaimed and he laughed.
"Alright I think that's enough for tonight." He yawned standing up and stretching before scooping her off the floor. "Goodnight sweet pea."
Penny made a disappointed face as he laid her in her crib. Didn't he know she was trying to tell him something?

Just as he was about to climb into bed his phone rang and seeing that it was Ella he answered. "Well hello beau-"
"It happened AGAIN!" She interrupted him sounding agitated.

I love when I time a photo perfectly to catch a sim staring at something they shouldn't be staring at! Lol well this chapter is pretty blah nothing has really happened yet. I have a feeling that generation one is going to pretty much blow by but generation two's roll is a bit more challenging so it should slow things down a bit.
