The Begining

Hidden Springs, this was where Micah had chosen to begin his new life. Perhaps it was the Hidden part that had drew him in but it didn't matter much, this quiet little town was just what he'd always wanted. His past was loud and chaotic and something he was content to never think of again. All he wanted to think about now was his future and how he could possibly bring it to life. First on his agenda was to head to his new job to pick up his schedule.

Science had always appealed to Micah, the time he did have silence as a child was tucked away in his room reading all about robots and gene-splicing. So naturally the first thing he had done after graduating was sending his resume out to every science facility possible. He'd been thrilled when Madeline Moore had contacted him personally to offer him the job. And while being a test subject may not be the most enticing job for your average sim for Micah it was a dream. He would do anything in the name of science.

When he had successfully acquired his schedule he stepped out into the bright sun to be blinded by something other the yellow rays. Ella Carlisle stole his heart the moment he laid eyes on her. And unlike any normal sim Micah tried to fight the urge to talk to her. He'd come here on a mission and only a certain type of woman fit into his plans. Ella wasn't the type he could tell already that she was the type he'd want to marry.

Despite his battle he found himself standing in front of her holding out a hand. "Hello! You must be new in town." She said with a friendly smile and shook his hand. "I'm Ella Carlisle."
"Yes I am new." He stammered out. "Micah. Oh um... Groves."
"Nice to meet you Micah. You must be the guy they just hired." She motioned to the building behind them.

"Yes... do you work here?"
"Oh no. I'm a chef actually but a friend of mine works here and we go to lunch together sometimes. Actually I'm on my way to meet her... but why don't I give you my number and I can show you around town sometime?" She smiled and he handed her his phone. "It was nice meeting you." She waved over her shoulder leaving him standing alone.

Trying to shake Ella out of his mind Micah hailed a cab requesting a ride to the park where he sat practicing chess. He couldn't believe that even at a park it was quiet all around him never in his life had he visited a park that hadn't been crawling with screaming children.

His first week in Hidden springs flew by filled with the promised tour from Ella and quite a few dates as well. In fact despite the fact that it went against all his plans he'd asked her to be his girlfriend. Which is how he found himself nervously dialing her number to invite her over for dinner for what he hoped would be an all night event.

"Why do you look so nervous?" Ella asked him taking his hands in hers.
"I'm not." He grumbled and she giggled.

"Micah you-" But he cut her off with a kiss.
"I'm sorry I-" He stammered but she silenced him with a kiss in return.

An hour later he found himself cleaning up a messy dinner in a situation that felt just a little too domestic...

Alright so this is really short and not really how I wanted it to be but as usual I took less pictures then I thought I did. Anyway this is the start of my second random legacy the first on is Here (It isn't finished). I decided to start this one to have something to do while I work out the issues with the other. I should be keeping up with this one weekly. Hope you enjoy! =)

  2. Ah, Micah! Sometimes the scientists don't like to listen to their heart, I am glad he is.
